ROT-deduction
✨ New: Temporary increase of the ROT deduction in 2025 - 50% of the work cost
From May 12, 2025 until December 31, 2025, the ROT deduction will be temporarily increased from 30% to 50% of the work cost. This means that you as a private individual can get back half of the labor cost for qualified ROT work performed and paid during this period.
Please note that it is the date of payment that determines the level of deduction that applies. To qualify for the 50% deduction, the invoice must be paid between May 12 and December 31, 2025.
The maximum deduction remains SEK 50,000 per person per year. This means that you will reach the maximum amount faster with the increased percentage.
This temporary increase is part of the government's measures to support the construction industry in the current economic situation.
💡 How the ROT deduction works at 24 Center
If you are the owner and live in the building where the work is to be carried out, you are entitled to a deduction. You can apply for the Rott deduction for, for example, alterations, extensions, repairs and maintenance to your home.
This means that 30% of the LABOR COST will be deducted from the invoice. We invoice 70% of the labor cost. Then we claim the remaining 30% from the tax authorities.
Does not apply to material costs.
The red deduction can be used up to SEK 50,000/year per person.
Always check with the tax authorities whether you meet all the requirements for the Rot deduction.
